- Elecampane (Inula helenium) root, contains Sesquiterpene lactones (SLs) which are composed of a large and diverse group of highly bioactive plant secondary metabolites, characterized by a 15-carbon backbone structure. The anti-inflammatory potential of these types of compounds results from their ability to target and inhibit various key pro-inflammatory molecules enrolled in diverse inflammatory pathways and support the reduction of inflammatory damage on tissues.
- Jalapa (Ipomoea purga) root.
- Blackberry (R. fruticosus) leaves. The leaves hold dominancy when it comes to medicinal benefits.
